Introduction: When the Search for Others Becomes a Search for Self
Missing You is more than a gripping mystery—it’s a story about the courage to seek truth in a world of secrets and lies. When those we love vanish, we’re forced to confront not only the world’s dangers but also the stories we tell ourselves about trust, identity, and resilience. As creative leaders, we all face moments when the familiar disappears, and we must become the hero of our own journey. Will you rise to the challenge, or let the story be written for you?
Plot Summary: A Daughter’s Relentless Search
June Allen, a rebellious teenager, is left alone when her mother, Grace, heads to Colombia with her boyfriend Kevin. When they fail to return, June’s world is upended. With authorities unable to help, June takes the investigation into her own hands—hacking emails, tracing digital footprints, and enlisting the help of Javier, a resourceful gig worker in Colombia. As she digs deeper, June uncovers layers of deception: Kevin’s criminal past, Grace’s hidden identity, and a web of lies stretching back to her own childhood. The search leads June to Nevada, where she discovers her supposedly dead father orchestrated the entire plot for revenge. In a harrowing climax, June and Grace fight for survival and, in the process, rebuild their fractured relationship—emerging stronger, wiser, and more connected than ever
